Single-family housing in Porto.

From a plot highlighting process, the project for a completely new building in the center of Porto was developed. The permission was to create a small apartment on the ground floor and a two-storey house for a family. An attempt was made to provide the project with a consensual language on the main elevation and a bolder, more modern design on the back. The materials chosen are indigenous and traditional to the city, such as granite, wood or ceramics. The formal simplicity of the building inserts it naturally into its surrounding context, while at the same time creating modern and comfortable environments inside.
